First Holy Communion is usually celebrated at age 7 (Second Grade).  Your child should be enrolled in either Catholic School or the Parish School of Religion program in order for them to receive the proper educational and spiritual formation to celebrate this Sacrament.  The actual celebration takes place on Sunday during the Liturgical Season of Easter.
