Kindergarteners worked with Starfall.com to reinforce
their letters and sounds.

Grades 1 used MS Paint to draw a plant and label the parts.
Grade 2 used Storybook Weaver to make a Spring
picture and write 3 sentences about Spring.
Grade 3 is doing the 2 minute timing in Glencoe Computer Applications
and Keyboarding. Their goal is to make 0 errors in 2 minutes with words per
minute between 10 and 15. They made a PowerPoint presentation about the rainforest,
using the website http://www.facts4me.com/.
For this presentation, they added facts, pictures, slide transitions, and slide
animations. For an Easter project, they used MS Word drawing tools to draw an Easter
bunny.

Grade 4
The 4th
Graders a PowerPoint presentation about St. Joseph School, adding pictures,
titles, text, transitions, and animations. In addition, they used MS Word to
make a creative poster using the Our Father, changing fonts, font sizes and
font color. They made a cross using MS Word Drawing Tools, and chose a picture
for the project.
Grades 5 students used PowerPoint
to make a presentation on the Apostle’s Creed, using the words from the creed.
They chose a slide design and a slide layout. They also added slide
transitions, setting each slide for 5 seconds, and then added slide animations.
Grade 6 students used MS Word Drawing Tools and text boxes to create The
Colors of the Cross, and then they created a PowerPoint presentation using
the same information.

Grade 7 students are using
Microsoft Word to format reports, putting in title pages, headings, page
numbers, footnotes, endnotes and tables of contents. They also made a project
using their choice of MS Word, Publisher, Print Shop or PowerPoint to present
an original essay in a creative way.
Grade 8 The 8th Graders worked with databases, making
tables, queries, and reports.
