Fifth Grade Subjects

Vocabulary/Spelling:

No Vocabulary until we are done with ITBS.

English:

We will be studying Pronouns.

Reading/Literature:

We are reading Bridge to Terabithia

Religion:

Chapter 5 on Baptism

Sixth Grade Subjects

English:

We are starting pronouns.

Religion:

Thursday, October 9: Test on Chapter 4

Music Classes

K-2:

We are doing a couple of new music and movement songs. We had a lot of fun doing “My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean”. We learned two big musical terms. Ask your child what pianissimo and fortissimo mean.

We have begun some Halloween songs.

Grade 3 and 4: During October, we will be singing Halloween songs and getting ready to start flutophones.
